Privacy Policy

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us. When you submit the contact or quote form we record your name, email address, and any optional details you provide — phone number, company, role, project name, type, location, tonnage, target date, budget range, your message, and any drawings or documents you attach.

For security we also store a one-way hash of your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, and the page you submitted from. The hash lets us spot and block abuse without keeping your address in readable form.

What we do with it

• Prepare and send you an estimate, proposal or answer.
• Contact you about the project you asked us about.
• Keep a record of the enquiry for our own project history.
• Protect the site from automated abuse and spam.

We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

Project documents

Drawings, specifications and other files you upload are treated as confidential. They are stored outside the public web root and are only accessible to authorised BarCraft staff. We are glad to sign your NDA before you send anything — just ask.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie we use is a session cookie for our own staff dashboard, which is never set for public visitors.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are retained for as long as they are commercially useful, typically up to seven years for projects we work on. You can ask us to delete your enquiry and any attached files at any time.

Third parties

Notification emails are delivered through a standard SMTP provider. Aside from that provider and our hosting infrastructure, your details are not shared with anyone.

Your choices

Email us at estimating@barcraftsolutions.com to ask for a copy of what we hold, request a correction, or have your data deleted. We will respond within a reasonable period.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted here.
